Legacy of Heroes Event
On June 21, 2010, more than 500 firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS workers, family and friends gathered to honor the memory of fallen Police Detective Marc DiNardo, who not only gave his life in the line of duty but continued to give life to others as an organ and tissue donor. Together they pledged their commitment to register as donors and join New Jersey Sharing Network’s “Legacy of Heroes” initiative by spreading the word about the life-saving importance of organ and tissue donation.
